Our Capability

Welcome ladies and gents! I hope you guys enjoyed reading my last post and I hopefully you guys learned something new about our current society problems.

We are going to travel back in time to the time I went on vacation to Lebanon, I was excited to see and learn different things about my culture and ancestors that I've never heard of before, grievously having to know about discriminatory ideologies on women going to war, playing sports and being active!?!?! something that is very normal in Canada for everyone “the way people talk poorly about you” behind your back for a girl to play a sport or simply running in the alley in our village.

You wouldn’t believe how frustrated I became to come home every day getting complaints from the neighbors about me doing the normal activities I did in back here, in Windsor. The fact that they held that belief so strongly in their heads was delirious. I would ask them why they thought so? And their respond would sound like a bullet through my head “It’s not lady like to run around or play sports, man have more energy and should always stay that way”. well!! "I am sorry that your lazy bum doesn't have the energy" that very moment I wanted someone to put me of my misery ((OMG)). I was super red!

"Billie Jean King (1973 Winner of The Battle of The Sexes (vs Bobby Riggs): In front of 30,492 spectators and a worldwide television audience estimated at 50 million people in 37 countries.)"

The following example is to prove wrong to all misconceptions towards Women Power, the potential and aptitude a woman holds, no matter what she does. Billie Jean king, was a feminist herself “No one ever believed that women’s tennis would garner enough of an audience" to warrant equal prize money to that of the men’s sport"....” She became known for her astounding protest and equalizing not only women’s (in sports, money…and much more) rights but also she was an Advocate for sexual equality. This woman is a big inspiration to me, because she took a step further to bring justice to both sexes and she accomplished that. Guess what she was FEMALE!! HMMM isn’t that WONDERFUL :)

Thank you for your time :
